An amazing start to the day couldn’t have been anyways better than going out for a breath taking experience in the heart of Delhi, Ambrosia Bliss- A Casual Dining and Lounge. Spread across an area of 15,000sq ft, it stands tall with 3 different sun kissed terraces, facing different locations in Connaught place, a perfect way to soak the sun, enjoy your favorite drinks with your favorite people. The place boasts of a Lounge with uber chic bar and stage which stands host to various performers and a state of art corporate dining area too.

With an ambience of beautiful white, gold and maroon seating, it captivates you and calls you to enjoy quality time. There is a lady with a bright smile at your service from the time you enter Ambrosia. To start with, the fresh tipsy mango cocktail, made of mango puree and vodka and mint, is like a perfect breath of fresh air to your mood. Post that on chef’s recommendation the signature Angel Bliss cocktail, made of bourbon whiskey, cinnamon and lime juice is served which gives a perfect kick to your taste buds.

The food as suggested by the chef himself, we had fish in mustard sauce, fish perfectly cooked and tempered in mustard sauce which did not give the not so likeable pungent mustard flavor to the dish. The fish cakes, prawn dim sums, pan seared chicken dim sums were a cooked to perfection with perfect seasoning and flavours. Now switching to the pure vegetarian part of the north Indian cuisine, we were served with Dahi ke kebab, paneer tikka and hara bhara kebab which was an average preparation served with green chutney, Nothing great. The chicken Roulade was perfectly seasoned to suit all taste buds.
The star starter was the prawn on sticks,  amazing taste and flavor – a must try for all sea food lovers.

No pungent prawn smell, just the saucy flavors and the meet cooked just right. The main course has a bit of everything from nalli ka korma to dal makhni, Andhra fish curry and chicken massman curry, accompanied with steamed rice and a bread basket inclusive of lacha paranta, hari mirch ka parantha, garlic naan everything had distinct flavours and an amazing feeling of being fed with love. To wash it all, we had the betel bliss-  another worth trying cocktail and mia meloni, a melon mocktail to please your taste buds.

The desserts are to die for! The sticky toffee pudding was the star dessert which vanished from the table within 2 minutes, after being served. The coconut pudding just melts in your mouth and is quite refreshing. The chef swears by his preparations and everything stands true on his words with nothing to dislike. We had a great experience with Ambrosia Bliss.
