I feel I am lucky to have been born in family that loves non-vegetarian and of course seafood as well. I love seafood including wide variety of fish, oysters, lobsters etc and it takes care of my protein. Well, it is also rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Unfortunately we don’t get to see a lot of seafood in Delhi/NCR at affordable price. Now, I have something interesting to share….

Kylin Experience at Holiday Inn, Mayur Vihar is running sea food fiesta, where you will not only get some amazing sea foods, but, you can choose the kind of sauce you want.
jumbo prawn in hot pepper and celery

Kylin Premier is almost a decade old restaurant and still going strong. They are not only known for sushis, but they also offer great Pan Asian food. Holiday Inn opened Kylin Experience around four months back and they entirely re furbished their grill house and converted it into Pan Asian restaurant.

crab in basil and chilli sauce

An interesting fact about this place is that you get grilled as well as steamed dishes – according to your preference! I tried whole red snapper cooked in black pepper sauce. The good thing about the dish was that it the sauce was in adequate quantity that gave the right flavours – Hot but delicious and I loved it. Jumbo prawns cooked in similar black pepper sauce, too was delightful. I love black pepper sauce as it is hot, but not spicy and love because it hot not spicy. It was perfectly cooked prawns in thick sauce and it is an excellent combination. Crab cooked in basil and chilli sauce had the balancing flavour of sweetness of crab and chilli sauce.

For main course we had amazing Thai chicken green curry along with rice and noodles. I enjoyed the consistency of the gravy as well as the flavour that went well with rice.

wasabi cheese cake

We finished our meal with wasabi cheesecake and chocolate maha-jog. Cheesecake lacked the kick of wasabi but the chocolate compensated for it.

This one is for all serious food lovers.  If you love sea food and enjoy it in varied styles and flavors of cooking (along with different sauces), then “Kylin Experience”, is a place that warrants delightful experience! Festival is on till end of this month.
