DSC_6258_00001 I love non vegetarian and hence I always look out for places that offers non vegetarian dishes in plenty. The struggle comes when I have family/friends who I would want to take out and if they are vegetarians; home cooked food, no doubt is always the best option – but then eating out together once in a while or maybe when you have unexpected guests come by or maybe for any other reason – treating them to a vegetarian delight – I believe anyone wouldn’t mind driving down extra miles – to a place that offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options in plenty!.

DSC_6263_00006During navratras, I enjoyed Sunday brunch with family and friends at avatar, Radisson Kaushambi and the vast buffet menu for vegetarians brought twinkle in their eyes! Interestingly, the vegetarian and non-vegetarian sections are placed separately and far apart. One isn’t allowed to get non vegetarian in the vegetarian section. Not just this, “SULTAN” (opens for dinner)the speciality restaurant for vegetarians offers Sunday brunch along with Avatar. Keeping two separate sections definitely is the biggest USP for vegetarian lovers! For those, who do not mind, dining together with their nonveg food lovers, they can bring their vegetarian food to from the veg buffet section, into the non-veg buffer area.

Avatar is the first restaurant that I have tried which offers countless options in the veg buffet – Truly a delight for vegetarians!

What they offer on Buffet

They have lot of variety, ranging from Indian to Chinese, Italian, South Indian, and Continental and along with some great Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian . You will enjoy the Great salad section that has variety of cold cuts and cold salads to please your palate.

DSC_6265_00008What I recommend:

You must try their salad sections and it is a lavish spread. The live takatak section which has some seekhs and mutton – cooked according to your preference; your favourite meat/seafood with your kind of spice level – All of it gets served right on your table.

The large variety of Indian street food has spread from Rajasthan and other parts of India. , They vegetarian international section too has great spread and every week the menu keeps changing. As we visited during navaratras, variety of vrat dishes too were available (food for fasting)

For non-vegetarians main course offers amazing dishes like mutton Rogan josh, simple dal fry and delicious biryani under Indian section

DSC_6262_00005I am sure you would love to finish your brunch with some mouth-watering Indian and western desert. My favourite was kheer , rose flavoured chena piece and chocolate mousse.

This will surely turn out to be perfect Sunday outing with your family to enjoy great food with some chilled beer or a glass of sparkling wine.

And this is a great choice if you are vegetarian or going out with your vegetarian friends.

Bon Appetite
