Pan Asian cuisine seems to booming these days. If I look at F&B for 2015, Pan Asian had been ruling and you would get flavours from Asia taking you through an excellent journey across China, Japan, Korean, Thailand and much more! We have been specifically enjoying Chinese and Thai and offlate Japanese too. Pan Asian food gives exotic flavours and hence our palates at the end of the day love wasabi, Satay, teriyaki and much more! With multiple pan Asian restaurants mushrooming in the city, we get to experience culinary delight.

I think Asian cuisine is perhaps one of the most popular international cuisines in India. Though over the years we have developed our own local version of it, yet, it is very popular.

During valentine week, we experienced the second edition of Asian Hawkers Market at Select City Walk. When it was hosted last year for the first time, I thought it was definitely one of the strategic decisions both in terms of choosing the cuisine as well as the location. Food festivals require space and if you run into festivals, where there is challenge of parking space, the event turns into a nightmare with people refraining from visiting such locations and avoiding such places.

Choosing Select City walk as the local not only helped them to attract people but also the ample parking space let to a well organised event and people pouring in from all locations.

My fun field fiesta   – I tried lot of places, out of which EN was excellent. PA PA YA which is soon opening in Delhi was terrific. Kylin Experience at Holiday Inn was excellent too. Some of the new ones that caught my attention were Hawkers Street and Dan Dan Cart from Le Meridian Gurgaon. The Bento box was disappointing. I had great experience at AHM and I am looking forward to the next one.
