With this scorching heat when mercury is rising, we generally prefer to eat light food like salads and soups. I am not very fond of soups and salads in particular, however much depends on their presentation. My experience at Hyatt, Delhi has always been superlative not only in terms of food but service as well. La piazza, The China Kitchen or their all day dinning Café – everywhere it’s has been good. When I was asked to review the new summer menu at Café, I was wondering what would be different and was looking forward to it.

The new enhanced buffet where the main course section has been extended and you can try some great grills. I tried chicken, pork ribs and fish and they were excellent. Perfectly grilled and mixed well with sauces.

The man highlight of the menu for me was the salad section. You have plenty of options to choose from cold to warm salads including different types of veg salads too. Well, that isn’t all. Apart from this, chef has his signature salads too.

Mango papaya salad has the sweetness of papaya and the slight tanginess from mango complemented each other really well.

The simple yet refreshing and light fig with rocket leaves and goat cheese salad were perfect to beat the heat.

Duck lever and marinated seafood salad doesn’t need any description. It was delicious!.

New summer menu at Café, Hyatt is here to help everyone beat the heat and yet gorge on some light, simple and great food. The salads are not just fresh, they are delicious and you would love to gorge on to this. .

Kudos to Chef Abhishek and his team for churning out an interesting summer menu.
