Bella Cucina should be case study for F&B industry that how a team of super talented chefs can make an international cuisine not just delicious but also offer at a very competitive price. Their dedication and passion shows that you not always need an expat chef and our very own Chefs can make authentic international food. Chef Suprabhat Roy Chowdhury is an example of great leadership and gives all the credit of Bella Cucina to Chef Amit Kumar who has learnt the nuances of Italian cuisine while working under some of the finest Italian chefs. He is getting into that league, where the myth, that an expat chef can make the most of their cuisine, gets broken. Chef Ravi Saxena is known for the instrumental opening and perhaps one of the very first Italian restaurant Sam Gimiano at The Imperial. Not to forget Chef Suman Sharma whose Tonino is still considered as one of the finest Italian restaurant in Delhi. And we also have Star Chef Ritu Dalmia and her restaurant Diva.bella cucina, le meridien gurgaon, mysticfoodiemantra.com, maneesh srivastva food and lifestyle photographer and blogger

Chef Amit hails from Champaran( Bihar) where the Neelhe Agitation happened against British Empire and Bapu( Mahatama Gandhi ) was spearheading it. It’s the place which is also famous for champaran mutton and one of the most unique kebab – taash kebab that is unique and different from regular kebabs

Bella Cucina is the latest Italian restaurant in Delhi/NCR after much acclaimed Sorrento at Shangri-La that opened earlier this year.bella cucina, le meridien gurgaon, mysticfoodiemantra.com, maneesh srivastva food and lifestyle photographer and blogger

3 PDR and ample sunlight, some very classy chandelier that glows – this place is very energetic and positive and the ambience reflects every bit of the energy. I have been told that this place looks absolutely stunning in evenings too.

Now on the food! Mushroom Cappuccino soup was made of porcini, Portobello and button mushrooms and served with prochin brioche and topped with truffle oil. The moment it was served on my table I could enjoy the aroma of mushroom and truffle oil – an indication that my afternoon was going to be far better than I had thought of!bella cucina, le meridien gurgaon, mysticfoodiemantra.com, maneesh srivastva food and lifestyle photographer and blogger

The beetroot salad with goat cheese snow on top of it along with nuts for the crunch and some fresh baby arugula was refreshing and light. The Australian lamb shake on the bed of creamy spinach and red wine jus was definitely a welcome addition and the richness of iron of spinach was perfectly balanced with the cream giving it a very smooth finish.

You can’t miss prawn ravioli with young cherry tomato that gives it a nice tangy flavour. Chicken risotto was cooked well and didn’t have excess of creame and cheese. This made the dish light and delicious.bella cucina, le meridien gurgaon, mysticfoodiemantra.com, maneesh srivastva food and lifestyle photographer and blogger

They also have excellent range of desserts. The lemon tart had the perfect balance of tanginess and their classic tiramisu was certainly one of the best I have ever had.

Bella Cucina is fresh and is very pocket friendly. The pricing of the dishes, without a doubt, is  going to give tough competition to their counterparts not only in Gurugram but in Delhi as well.
