Do Your Own Bowl Of Happiness at Shophouse By Kylin

When golf course road in Gurgaon was developing at marathon speed, I always wondered where would residents of this place, go out for dinner. Before the opening of One Horizon Center there was hardly any place that golf course road had to offer, except for some breweries. Sector 29 is not an option as with most of the places, you cannot go with kids. Parking too is a nightmare. This goes true for cyber hub too. Cyber hub started with a bang, a unique concept that had a factory of eateries, however, when they started expanding into other buildings, the place started to lose its charm. I should admit that the place continues to remain crowded, though I haven’t been there since a year. I am not very fond of this place, except for some of the places that I would want to go again. 

It was my third visit to One Horizon Centre. Earlier I had been for events and didn’t get time to navigate the place. There is ample parking space – up to 4-5 levels and it is designed in a perfect manner. Hope this place doesn’t get flooded with restaurants as else it too will lose its charm.

I was at Shophouse for lunch which is opened by Kylin Group and it serves Asian cuisine that includes sushi, dimsums and array of meals in the bowl. I was impressed by their meals in bowls concept. These days, healthy and light food is the preferred food habit. During office hours you feel intoxicated with sleep in case you have had heavy and greasy stuff. All the energy goes towards digestion and hence your brain receives less of energy to work on.  And if you are in office, the condition worsens! 

Shophouse by Kylin at One Horizon Centre has come up with a brilliant concept of DIY Bowl, where you can choose your vegetable, protein and other garnishings along with the sauce of your choice. Super healthy and very light, as the food is blanched and not ‘wok’ed up!
