Weekend Getaway – Heritage Village Resort & Spa, Manesar

What if I tell you a resort which is not only very close to Delhi but also is lush green and gives you the feeling of dwelling in a heritage property….

Yes. Heritage village and Spa which is approx. 30 min drive from Delhi International Airport is truly a resort. Spread across 12 acres this lush green place, where blocks are divided into different segment has structure similar to any old Rajputana haveli.

With 154 rooms including suites and rooms, Heritage Resort also has a spa and two restaurant.

We went there on weekend where it was a full house with live band performance on sat night. This is one of their regular feature where they invite emerging talents every weekend to create an enigmatic experience.  The evening was mesmerising, absolutely electric, with the soul stirring Sufi night.  “TARKASH” – this Delhi based team rocked the night with team comprising of Parth Sharma – Vocals/, Vibhor Hasija – Keys, Rishabh Johri – Bass; Sidaque Singh Dadiala – Drums, Rahul Salwan – Percussions.

Reaching to heritage resort is not very difficult as it has proper sign boards on the road. We had a comfortable drive from home and we reached before lunch on sat noon

Beautifully designed room, we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and warm smiles. J

After checking in we freshened up and proceeded towards Surya Mahal where Corporate Chef Gaurav had prepared a special organic lunch for us. Exceptionally a huge thali that was presented in a very elegant and beautiful manner. The efficient service and peaceful ambience will enthral you!

After such a scrumptious meal you can either take a walk or walk around their lush green and small organic farm where they grow their own vegetables or you can chill at the pool side. You will love the way the building looks, however what will wow you is the natural landscape and greenery which is lovely

I was little tired so I decided to take a quick nap before I headed to their lovely tea stall “Pappu tea stall” (Nothing politicalJ)

Tea time here too, are very interesting. You have kids playing zone and on the other hand green fields. A small tea stall serving excellent masala tea, sitting on charpoi makes a perfect atmosphere for “chai pe charcha”.

In the evening came the block buster – Soul string Tarkash band. Throughout unlimited snacks and drinks were being served and the service despite, the place being full house was worth admiring and truly incredible.

After a lyrical evening we headed straight for our dinner. They had a good spread, however food isn’t very outstanding. The service here though is of top notch.

After our dinner we took a stroll of the property again. Next morning you wake up to a blanket of pure air, chirping birds and the morning sunshine makes the place more enchanting! This is a truly private place for you to enjoy in natural surroundings and you can spend the day lazing in poolside or just hand around with your favourite music or book. This is the place to relax, unwind and enjoy greenery in abundance!

After our breakfast (good spread, decent variety), we left the place and had already made up our mind to come here soon again.
