Working from home, sitting in front of the computer and talking to people for hours, every call, conference, townhall, online classes begins and ends with staring at the screen and this is the new normal these days. We are trying very hard to cope up with this, but sometimes it becomes too monotonous, and to break this, we also need a break from work. To spend time with family, relax and enjoy so that we can go back to the same working life – all you need is a staycation!
Since we are avoiding going out of the station, and have always wanted a quick short break, we decided to destress at Crown Plaza Rohini. We have been there multiple times and always loved their hospitality and food.
After effortless and contactless check-in, we got into our room, it was on the 14th floor and from there the view was mesmerizing. At various points, you will find sanitizers and proper distance being maintained, though the place is buzzing amid Covid!
The room too was well sanitized! Surprisingly, in our earlier check-ins at some places, we found a humid smell from the room. At Crowne Plaza, we not just received a warm welcome, the room in itself was fresh, and you could feel the class and energy while entering. That was the first step where we just could feel unwinding ourselves!
When we came down at Mosiac, their all-day-dining, we were told that the chef has prepared some special dishes for lunch as well as had curated dinner for us.
Well, let’s talk about lunch first. The mutton kebabs which came on the hot plate was the star dish at the lunch. The bone in the mutton was perfectly cooked and the dish was absolutely brilliant to eat and had amazing flavour. Chicken lollypops and fish tikka were so delicious that everyone on the table loved it. Naina loved the Paneer, veg salt and pepper, stuffed aloo, chilly mushroom and the salad. After having a great lunch, I must admit that we had stuffed ourselves. However, we didn’t feel bloated or heavy. The food was rich and while discussing with Chef realized that most of the hotels are using stocked up items as they can’t throw them away. Such items aren’t stale, but the freshness and taste get lost.
At Crowne Plaza Rohini, Chef has ensured to use Fresh items for the guests. This makes a lot of difference and one would now understand why this place is buzzing. I would anytime prefer going to this place for lunch/dinner and would recommend, given that quality continues to be the topmost concern/priority for this hotel!.
Next was high tea, which chef Ashish and F&B Director Naveen specially curated for us and when we saw that we were very impressed. The puff pastry was one of the best I have eaten and so were the muffins and sandwiches.
Our dinner was absolutely outstanding, the way the chef planned it. was overwhelming. From amuse-bouche to the dessert, every single dish was brilliant. My son loved the seekh kebabs. Special mention of butter chicken and malai kofta and dal makhni. It was more than a seven-course meal that we enjoyed. Other than the usual menu, you can prebook and have a family get-together for an extravaganza lunch/dinner, or may simply want to enjoy their regular menu. Whatever you wish to choose, your experience will be outstanding as this place offers hospitality and quality beyond compare!
Our stay at Crown Plaza Rohini was absolutely amazing. Their service, food and hospitality are clearly top-notch! And I must say here that their hygiene and cleanliness and social distancing protocol was absolutely banged on.
I would anytime recommend this place, covid or no covid, you are SAFE when you are at CROWNE PLAZA, Rohini. Do not postpone the celebration that you have been longing to have. This place fits-in, in every way!
