The first floor of Indian accent has ‘Upstairs’ which is a perfect venue for pop-ups. Without the doubt, the unmatched service of Indian accent will not only wow you, but also enhance your dining experience.
Food is simple with bold flavours and excellent amalgamation of Indian ingredients. Chef has been very thoughtful and clear around the dishes that would be liked and enjoyed. When I asked him that is the movie Chef inspired by his in-famous twitter spat with the food writer – He smiled but didn’t say anything.
What I like about his food is that it is simple, no fuss and has great flavours. The amalgamation of his French cooking with Indian ingredients are fantastic. While the food was excellent, I equally enjoyed the wine pairing. Wines were perfectly paired with each course by LaCave. Apart from Domaine Laroche Chablis, domain Schlumberger riseling was my pick. While the Kanyakumari crab with green apple and nimbu lemon was bustling with flavours in each morsel; River Sole a la Grenobloise a sole fish cooked in classic French style was creamy and rich in taste.
Chef shared that he liked the food at Chor Bizzare, though it was a bit spicy for him. My pick would be mushroom custard with coconut and curry, artichoke with soft polenta and chicken with black lentils. Price at INR 3000 for lunch and dinner and additional INR 2000 if you opt for wine pairing.
