The Experience:

Food at Olive always has great flavour and comes with excellent presentation. Every dish is chalked out with great attention, precision and with usage of very high quality ingredients. And my love for Olive increases as each dish not just satiates your cravings, but also imparts immense pleasure with every bite that you partake.

The royal punch was a great start of the evening and lone look at the menu, I was sure that it will be a great experience. Cured Tederloin tonnato that is inspired from classic italian dish vietello tonnato has thin slices of tenderloin. Carpaccio with tangy tuna and anchovy dressing has a nice tangy flavour and is a great starter. For vegetarians, there is classic beetroot, goat cheese and walnut served with beetroot sorbet.

OliveNext, I chose stone bass, prawns  – perfectly grilled fish served with romanesco( edible flower) and shrimp, squid salsa, equiste J

Before you move to your main course, you will be served a citrus based palate cleanser. It prepares you for the main course.

Out of the four option in main course ( two veg and two non-veg) I chose my favourite belgium pork belly, slow braised in red wine reduction and served with pickled piccalilli, sauteed kale and potato mash.

We finished our meal with vanilla poached pear with panacotta , honey comb and broken merigue. I loved the dessert and would want to go back again, even though I am not a dessert lover.

This six course chef’s menu at Olive is brilliantly crafted by the talented Chef Dhruv Oberoi , and you shouldn’t miss
