In India, they prepare to keep in mind our taste buds. However, Thank god we still have Neung Roi and Thai Pavillion. I was at Neung Roi recently, prior to my Thailand trip.

Neung Roi has new expat chef and new Marcom head as well (joined 4 months back). The Chef has recently joined and will take some time to settle down. The quality of the food continues to be at par. Appetizers were terrific and so was the tom yum salad. I loved their Thai curry and sticky rice. Thai cuisine has five flavors – sweet, sour, spicy, salty and bitter and matches to our Indian palate. It is one the reasons for its popularity in India.

Now let us talk food.

maneesh srivastva, lifestyle blogger and photographer, urbanescapades.in, neung roi, Radisson blu mahipalpur, auhentic thai cuisine, Masterchef Orawan Piyapaisanskul (12)I started with Som Tum, the most popular Thai salad. The crunch of peanut, bite of raw papaya, hint of Thai chili and with light soya sauce – simplicity in its best form and yet delectable salad.

Gai Kraprow – my all-time favorite Thai appetizer, the flavor of basil makes chicken flavorful that you cannot stop gorging. For me, Thai food is incomplete without pad thai and Thai curry with sticky rice.

Massaman Kea – the lamb curry with potato and onion cooked to perfection, tasted great with sticky rice. I always love their pad Thai- Spot on!

A Thai meal is incomplete without desserts especially mango with sticky rice and water chestnuts with coconut milk. Both the desserts at Neung Roi are exceptional and I wouldn’t mind a repeat. Not to be missed.

Neung Roi continues to have its charm and the food is authentic. I am sure you will love the Thai food served here!
