I generally avoid writing negative reviews because many people who would have never commented on my positive reviews definitely come forward and write positive things about that place or food.
However, I prefer to stick to my taste buds and based on that, share my experiences. You may or may not agree but it doesn’t stop me from writing/sharing my actual experience.
Last Sunday I met my friend Sonali after almost 6 months, at Sly Granny. I have used their ready to use pasta sauces and really liked them. During the lockdown, I developed a fondness for spaghetti so I went ahead and ordered spaghetti aglio olio and a burrata pizza. The pizza was excellent and we both loved it. The pasta had excess salt and it killed the taste. Well, this kind of fault is not acceptable in a restaurant no matter what. When I shared the pic of pasta I received many messages and most of the folks were in agreement that they didn’t have a good experience here. I just want to say that because of this pandemic every sector has been badly affected, not just hospitality. People have lost their jobs, salary cut and have been utilizing their savings. So if people are going out for eating, it’s important that they get what they are paying for.
It was my first visit to Gurgaon post lockdown i.e., almost after 6 months. Comorin used to be my meeting point until the first week of March.
A couple of friends decided to visit Comorin because it’s been talk of the town since it opened.
The food here is fantastic and it brings comfort, kindles childhood memories and reminds us of many other fantastic experiences that we have had as kids/the early ’20s. I will not get into details but let me tell you that everyone not just enjoyed but also planned to meet again at Comorin! That it itself says a lot about the place, food and their hospitality. A big thanks to the entire team for a fabulous experience! Can’t wait to go there soon!
