When I started going out after almost 8 months, my first visit was at recently renovated all-day dining, Machan at Taj Mahal Hotel.

The iconic Machan is back with a bang – the old and nostalgic touch of the Machan when it opened with a safari theme and almost all-new menu. The famous cona chai, which was the talk of the town, when it opened first, is back in-game again. I was delighted to see that their emperor lounge was packed when I was entering in Machan for lunch. Their safety and hygiene measures are at the next level. I never have to think twice before entering the restaurant because I trust the brand and its hospitality.

While I was talking to Fatima at The trident Gurgaon sometime back, over lunch, she agreed that these times are very tough and she also confirmed on the inflow of domestic guests for weekend breaks. Trident Gurgaon has an interesting concept which gives you a resort feeling while you are still in a big city. It was heart whelming to see that people are celebrating their happiness with a brand, they trust. That will help the hospitality industry to get back on their feet.

 

Human touch here means when you go the extra mile for your customer to make their experience worth and make them realise that it’s worth returning to the same place.

The Connaught Hotel adjacent to the famous Shivaji Stadium which is now part of Taj Seleqtions is now open and this hotel is going to bring back the lost sparkle of Connaught place. There are hotels in and around CP but they have lost the charm and they aren’t doing anything different to get back the glory of Connaught place.
