In these tough times when we are fighting with Coronavirus, we all should come together and support our F&B industry which is currently going through a major slowdown. Since all of us stuck at home, can’t go out, we decided to order some home delivery. Unfortunately, those were horrible experience and we stopped ordering from outside.
Hyatt Regency is in our neighbourhood and we all love their food and being a luxury five star we also know that their quality and safety standards are high. The China Kitchen, La Piazza and TK’s are the finest restaurants of Delhi and dining at these places is a luxury! We decided to order food from them over the weekend. Everyone’s palate is different at home. Junior loves Chinese food, so we ordered Kung Pao chicken, Cumin Lamb and Noodles, and he was very happy.
Naina and I both love Italian so a simple la piazza sundried tomato pizza and spaghetti worked perfectly for us. We both loved the pizza and Spaghetti. A little hint of tanginess in the tomato sauce takes the pasta to another level and I would definitely love to try making them at home sometime. Chicken yellow curry from TK’s was excellent and went well with steamed rice. Chocolate muse and fruit pastry were both eggless and we had a hearty meal at home.
While the prices are on the higher side ( given the fact it’s a luxury five-star hotel and uses top class ingredients), it’s definitely worth ordering when you want to get a kick of the delicacies and get the pleasure of eating/ fine to dine, that you have been missing for a while.
The home delivery from high-end restaurants will last for some time, and this is one of the ways to fight the slowdown. Besides the quality and the quantity, each serving is loaded with Meat – juicy, succulent and delicious. The Lockdown didn’t deter our spirits and the excellent meal that we ordered was a celebration in itself!
PS –Hyatt Regency, Gurgaon too is delivering and trust me their food is excellent too.
