I will be very precise, and it will not take more than 2 min to read this entire review if you want to buy One plus 8T 5G.
Here are some pros and cons of the phone which I can think of after using the phone for almost 2 weeks. I bought it from Amazon and there is no offer at the moment.
Pros
- The Flagship SD processor 865, the fastest one currently available, so there is zero lagging even if you are playing PUBG or COD or any game.
- 120hz refreshing rate, very smooth and fast scrolling
- Andriod 11 with Oxygen 11 OS ( almost stock android)
- Comes with 5G
- Very smooth design and looks very attractive
- 65W fast charger – Which is great.
- Finally Amoled screen and AOD feature
Cons
- I miss the telephoto lens which was available in 7T.
- The battery doesn’t last long. You have to charge it twice in a day
- There are some bugs in Oxygen 11, which might get corrected in future updates. Mind it’s not stock android anymore, they have added some customization
- NO IP rating ( It hardly matters though)
- No Wireless charging
- I feel that the camera quality of One Plus 7T was better.
- I still miss 3.5mm jack.
Now, what to do? I am sure after reading this review this will be the first question that will come to your mind, Whether should I buy it or not!
If you are buying a phone with this kind of budget, you should definitely go for it. You can easily use this phone for the next couple of years.
If you are using 7T, don’t upgrade. If you bought One Plus 8 don’t upgrade it.
If you are a game lover then this phone is worth buying.
